Where Does Faith Fit In?

By Eva Gregory, CPCC

Choose Your Friends WiselyYou do not have to be religious to believe in other Laws of the Universe do you? You can choose to ponder who set up these Laws of the Universe, but this is not necessary.

There are similar beliefs between religion and the Law of Attraction. The greatest similarity is prayer. You ask God for something and he or she will grant it. The Law of Attraction states when you ask the Universe for what you want, it is brought to you. The process is slightly different but the results are essentially the same...

The other similarity is the concept of belief or faith. In religious practice you acknowledge that God exists and that you must have faith. In the Law of Attraction, you believe that the Universe will provide for you. The greatest difference is that you do not have to go through an intermediary such as a priest, minister or rabbi. You can ask directly.

Choose Your Friends Wisely

By Eva Gregory, CPCC

As individuals concerned about quality of life and the environment, I am sure that you frequently consider how the environment affects your well-being. Asking questions about what is being spewed into the air that is breathed, dumped into the water that is drunk, or absorbed into the food that is eaten has become commonplace. What about your social environment? It has just as much of an impact on your life and in most cases, the effects are more readily felt than those which we consider to be the outside environment.

What Instrument Do You Play In The Symphony Of Life?

It is sometimes hard to figure out your place in life. What is your purpose? What are you meant to do in life? I like to think of life as a large symphony. Each player in the symphony plays a certain part. There are different instruments in each section –piano, violins, cellos, flutes, trumpets, percussion. Each section seeks to play in harmony with the other. Each person has a special skill and talent that they have worked and practiced for many years. They have honed their particular musical skill so that when it comes time to perform that orchestral piece, they are ready.

It is sometimes difficult to figure out what our talents are. What I can guarantee is that every person has a talent or skill that they are good at. It can be an unusual skill such as making folded paper origami, or it might be an athletic skill.

Is The Energizer Bunny Mocking You?

By Eva Gregory, CPCC

Are you missing your "spark?" The "thing" that makes you want to get up in the morning and sing? Why is that? What is it that's getting in the way?

The answer is probably DRAINS. One of the definitions of a drain is to exhaust physically or emotionally. Does this sound like what you are feeling? Do you lack the energy, drive, or ambition that you would like to have in one or more areas of your life? If so, it's time to recognize where your drains are so they can be properly exorcised.

How do you identify energy drains? They are the things that leave you feeling unfulfilled, depressed, discouraged, exhausted, hopeless, or passionless. They can occur as a result of employment woes, too many demands, educational pursuits, relationships, health issues, or any other thing or person that touches your life. A very important point to remember is that energy drains are incredibly personal and unique.

Eenie, Meenie

By Eva Gregory, CPCC

Have you ever found yourself bored with life, of the “same ol" thing, or the repetition of a job that just does not make your engine rev? Did you know that there are many people plagued with the same challenge? The quest for how to make life more exciting. Surprisingly, the same answer works for those looking for a bit of a change in life, and for those looking to safeguard their lifestyle, in a word – diversity.

Diversification - a word familiar to most successful entrepreneurs; is a rule of thumb for not being caught by surprise. To find many things to invest money in, or different types of services to perform, so that if the bottom falls out of one market, project, or client all is not lost. It is the foundation for “multiple streams of income,” a phrase that has become very popular in the last several years as more and more people search for avenues to make money and build financial security. An example of multiple streams of income is someone who is an actor, a director, a producer, and a writer.
